Sewage Pumps by Alton Pumps uses website enquiry information to respond to pump sales, sewage pump repair, sewage pump servicing, pump station, control panel, alarm and replacement pump enquiries. Information submitted through the contact form may include your name, company, phone number, email address, site postcode, service requirement, pump make or model, fault details and any photos or documents you choose to provide. This information is used so that the team can understand the enquiry, respond appropriately, arrange support where requested and keep a record of the enquiry.
Photos, uploads and website tools
Where you send photos of pumps, chambers, control panels, alarms, serial plates or plant rooms, those images may be used internally to help identify the equipment and assess the likely next step. Optional website analytics is not loaded unless you accept it. You can accept, reject or revisit that choice using the Cookie choices control in the footer. Email delivery tools and basic security logging may be used to keep the website operating reliably. We do not ask visitors to enter payment card details through this website.

Online orders and card payments
When you order online, Alton Pumps Ltd uses your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address and the pumps you order to supply and deliver your order, answer questions, handle returns and keep the accounting records the law requires. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we do not see or store your full card number. We share your delivery details with our carrier (APC) so they can deliver. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for tax and accounting, normally six years.
Basket cookie
The shop sets one strictly necessary cookie (sp_basket) when you add a pump to your basket. It keeps your basket and protects the order forms, and it is deleted when you close your browser. It is not used for analytics or advertising, so it does not need your consent. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it.
