Who you are buying from

Your order

Check the model, electrical supply (single or three phase), duty and quantity before you order. Prices include VAT at 20%. The delivery charge and full total are shown in your basket before you pay. When you pay, Stripe emails you a receipt. The contract is made when we email to confirm your order and dispatch date. If we cannot supply a pump, we will tell you and refund you in full. We will not change the model or the price without your agreement.

Payment

You pay by card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay where available, through Stripe’s secure payment page at checkout. We never see or store your full card details. If you need a VAT invoice, email us with your order reference.

Delivery

We deliver to mainland Great Britain. Big-brand pumps have free delivery; HCP pumps are charged per pump. The delivery charge is shown before you pay. We email your dispatch date after you order. Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are priced by phone. Installation, commissioning and specialist unloading are not included unless we agree them in writing. See delivery and returns.

Changing your mind (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving the pump without giving a reason, then return it within a further 14 days. We refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of getting the pump back, or proof you sent it. We may reduce the refund if the pump has been handled more than needed to inspect it, for example installed or used in sewage. Please do not return a pump that has been in sewage without agreeing safe handling with us first. Full details and a cancellation form are on the delivery and returns page.

Faulty or wrong goods

Tell us as soon as possible if a pump arrives damaged, faulty or not as described. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. Do not install a pump that is visibly damaged.

Business customers

If you buy for a business, change-of-mind returns are by agreement. Our liability for any loss is limited to the price of the goods, except where the law does not allow this.

Fitting and use

Pumps must be installed by a competent person and wired to suit the electrical supply, with suitable protection, following the maker’s instructions. We are happy to quote for installation.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
